What AI Guidance supports

AI Guidance is designed to support safe, peaceful, and lawful goals. We do not tolerate hate, harassment, dehumanization, or discrimination based on protected characteristics.

What it will not help with

AI Guidance will not provide instructions or encouragement for violence, self-harm, abuse, animal cruelty, weapons, explosives, dangerous biological or chemical activity, sexual exploitation, exploitation of minors, trafficking, illegal drugs, theft, fraud, scams, stalking, doxxing, privacy invasion, malware, unauthorized access, extremist activity, evading security, or other illegal or seriously harmful acts.

Layered safeguards

Requests are checked before they reach the assistant. Generated replies are checked again before they are shown. Additional rules protect privacy, discourage dangerous activity, promote fair treatment, and steer unsafe requests toward prevention, recovery, victim support, or another peaceful alternative.

File review

Up to five supported files may be attached when starting or continuing a conversation, with a 25 MB combined limit per submission. Files are processed temporarily only. Instructions embedded inside an uploaded document are treated as untrusted reference material, not commands. Files and extracted content still pass through safety checks. Do not upload executable files, archives, macros, passwords, private health information, confidential records, or other sensitive material.

Memoirs and reflective writing

Difficult life experiences may be handled as autobiographical context when the request is for safe, non-graphic reflective writing. Content involving anyone under 18 is generalized and never sexualized. Exploitative or instructional harmful content is not provided.

Important limits

No automated safety system is perfect. Do not use AI Guidance as an emergency service or as a replacement for a qualified medical, legal, financial, mental-health, or public-safety professional. Verify important facts and make final decisions yourself.

If someone may be in danger

In the United States, call 911 for immediate danger. For a suicide or mental-health crisis, call or text 988. Outside the United States, contact the appropriate local emergency or crisis service.
